The Bioeconomy Institute advances the use of renewable resources to produce food, energy, bioproducts, and associated services. Four innovation pillars underscore our research and discovery:
- Agroecosystems - Experimentation and analysis of crop, livestock, and natural systems underpinning the bioeconomy
- Processing Systems - Experimentation and analysis to invent and improve processes or products for the bioeconomy
- Systems Intelligence - Analysis and tools to improve productivity, profitability, and stewardship of the bioeconomy
- Markets & Policy - Analysis and tools to enable wise investments in the bioeconomy
We are currently developing webpages that will more fully showcase our capacity, projects, and outputs in each of these pillars. Stop back soon to learn more.
