Kaitlyn Sewell is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Sustainable Energy Systems Analysis (SESA) lab group and a student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State. Her research focuses on the implementation and optimization of microgrids combining Anaerobic Digestion and other forms of sustainable energy to decrease energy costs for rural Iowan communities.
