BEI is located in the Biorenewables Research Laboratory (BRL) on the west side of the Iowa State University campus. It is part of the Biorenewables Complex.
The main entrance is on the south side of the building via the Sukup Atrium in the center of the complex. The main entrance to the atrium is on the east, but it can also be entered from the south and north. During office hours, you can also enter the BRL via its northwest entrance.
NOTE: Most of Bissell Road is closed until Aug. 2018.

If you are visiting someone in the BRL and have been told you will receive a parking pass, you can park in the reserved spots (marked by red signs) in Lot 6 west of Sukup Hall. Also, there are a limited number of metered parking spots in Lot 9 northwest of the complex. See nearby parking lots (at Iowa State’s Facilities Planning and Management site)
Ample bike racks are located on the northwest corner and on the south side of the Biorenewables Complex.
Guests of Iowa State can get Internet access privileges for seven days. See instructions on ISU’s Information Technology site.
