Ryan Clark received BS and MS degrees in geology from the University of Iowa after spending 5.5 years doing environmental consulting for Terracon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He joined the Iowa Geological Survey in 2012 as a Bedrock Geologist primarily focused on geologic mapping, well logging, critical mineral research, carbon sequestration and public engagement.

Harry Stine is synonymous with many titles – innovator, businessman, entrepreneur, and farmer. In addition to running one of the top four soybean seed companies in the United States, Stine Seed Company sells corn and soft red winter wheat under the Stine label. In this conversation Harry discusses the methods in place for scaling up biochar production.
