The best-in-show award and $750 went to Naomi Friend for her piece, Old Land, New Purpose, which incorporates cyanotype, van dyke, and watercolor.  As in previous years, the best-in-show piece becomes part of BEI’s permanent art collection.

First place and $350 went to , which shows the process from raw wood to charcoal. Second place and $250 went to Ashley Hogenson for her piece, Interwoven, an oil on canvas of Indian corn.
