NASA’s ‘Roses 2018: ECOSTRESS Science and Applications Team’ opportunity for up to $3.3M for up to 3 years as detailed in Solicitation: NNH18ZDA001N-ECOSTRESS; see https://nspires.nasaprs.com/external/solicitations/summary!init.do?solId=%7B7A765554-13CD-C6BA-A628-F4675EC9DEE2%7D&path=open
Abstract: Ecostress science objectives are to:
- Identify critical thresholds of water use and water stress in key climate-sensitive biomes,
- Detect the timing, location and predictive factors leading to plant-water uptake decline and/or cessation over a diurnal cycle, and
- Measure agriculture water consumptive use over CONUS at spatiotemporal scales applicable to input drought estimation accuracy.
