Funding range: $200,000/year for 3 years to the PI, with additional $25,000 to institution.  Submitter must provide “$50,000 annually in direct support”
Topics: This opportunity seeks to identify outstanding inventors and innovators who harness science and technology to enhance the conduct of scientific research, strengthen environmental conservation, or improve the experience and outcomes of patient care. Within the realm of patient care, Moore seeks to invest in inventions that improve the experience and outcomes of patients, including solutions in the areas of diagnostic excellence, medication safety in the community, and community-based serious illness care.  Eligibility for consideration: Position of Faculty, Research Scientist, or Other Full-Time Staff; Must be within 10yrs. of receiving terminal degree (at time of submission; must devote 25% of effort to pursuit of the invention during the 3-year period; ideas must accelerate progress in scientific research,  patient care, or environmental conservation.
